Creating your Child's Care Plan
This can be ideal for sharing with school, EHCP/DLA and other support services.
Service Description
Creating your own care plan is a great start to understanding what needs your child has and what interventions would be needed to support. A personal, bespoke session to go through all of your child's needs and what helps them at home, also at school. This can then be used in school meetings to highlight what reasonable adaptations need to be made. It can be used as evidence for DLA claims and EHCP cases. We will complete a one hour zoom call together (or telephone call if you would prefer) and then I will create a care plan template for you and get you started on a document that will become a very important for you and any professional working with your child. A care plan is a great document to take into meetings with you to keep schools accountable for what support they are putting in place, and form as great evidence for lack of support in place. It is time we stop waiting for mainstream services (tribunals and meetings etc) and take back some control ourselves. The service includes a zoom or telephone call to begin with and then I will work on creating the care plan for you via email. You will receive the care plan via email, ready to use within 3 days from our call.
Cancellation Policy
We pride ourselves on being non judgemental and neurodiverse friendly. You are welcome to come along to all online meetings with children in the background or with you. Please be aware of difficult topics that can occur therefore, if children are present, headphones may be your preference. We understand how each day can change unexpectedly when parenting neuro diverse children. We try and accommodate last minute changes as much as possible. For any reason you need to reschedule then 24 hours notice is required. This will ensure that you do not lose your payment and will either be offered a full refund or to re-book your session. If you cancel with less notice unfortunately you will need to rebook and make payment again.
